getting ahead in a cutthroat environment means beefing up the resume and coming up with character references to prove you know your stuff, yet 99.9% of the time they don’t get to the character at the heart of the person.

To this day I’ve had 3 great / unconventional life references, these transcend RTFM skills… one of them was tonight, without context it means nothing, in context it means more than everything.
