High Fructose Fallout January 24, 2010
A militarized zone seems to have two types of people:
- The cyborg muscle types
- The frumpy contractor who hits the macadamia nut cookies too hard
The ‘fit’ people all have their philosophies and strategies making it sometimes hard to wade through the self-proclaimed subject matter experts. Also there are books, websites, methods ad-nauseum on the subject.
My stragety has been to find and bond with a like minded indivdual and a vetern in fitness who’s examples has been proven and test. The two I’m following in my quest.
- Person A – Doesn’t have all the ‘answers’ but is curious, similar goals, similar body types – He’s my workout buddy.
- Person B – The 50 year old that looks like he’s 30 for my nutrition guide.
Person B gives me the book The Sugar Fix, and explains how high fructose corn syrup is the devil that’s making us fat and sick. This is in everything from ketsup to salad dressing to candy to most processed carbs.
Seems easy, get back closer to nature in your diet, and you’ll be healthier.
